Sometimes they have bones.
Costumes, sets and characters—all created to tell a story, to add joy, and to raise funds for an incredible cause. Each little skeleton world is made by hand, usually from things that already had a life before I put them to a new, more creative use.
That’s me—Michelle Bain. Self-proclaimed “queen of the skeletons.”
I’m a maker, costumer, builder, thrifter and lifelong believer that almost anything can become something extraordinary.
I sew. I build. I paint. I repurpose. And somewhere along the way, I accumulated about 80 skeletons. Yes, things escalated.
Yet, who could really call herself a queen without a kingdom to run?
Lucky for me, most of my kingdom fits in a 16’ Skelly Shed (plus a few others).
